And I haven't watched this yet, but anyone who watches United will surely divulge, especially the more mature members, as it is centralising on '48, '58 and '68, apparently:

Saw the Robbo documentary the other night. What a legendary captain and role model he was for United.
That goal vs Liverpool at Maine Road. Fackin hell.

In my early playing days I tried to model myself to be like Robbo.
I mastered the beer drinking.

Just need one of your posters who can roll a car and another who can drink for fun and you could have a Robbo, whiteside and Paul McGrath reunion.

People mention Robbo, Whiteside and McGrath as the disruptive drinkers at United, but no more any other players at other clubs in the First Division at that time. They were also our best 3 players in that team by a mile. Maybe the others should have drank as much as they were accused of. We might have won more. Robson and McGrath were 'category 1' world class, too. (thanks Culer).
In fact Robson is the probably 2nd best CM player this club has ever had behind Bobby Charlton.

After watching Keane and Scholes create legends of themselves, I find it hard to look past those two, with Keane being my slight preference.

And it is slight.

I saw them too. Keane and Scholes are legends. Both just not quite as good as Robbo and SBC were.
