I'm actually not too disappointed overall

Yes guys we lost, and it hurts like hell. But we really did not play badly at all.

- Coquelin was great today. Belied his age, that performance. He handled modric better than anyone could've hoped. I really think when our cb's are fit him and song should play in the midfield 3 (until wilshere gets back) with arteta/ramsey completing it. He played well against utd too.

- Ramsey wasn't at his best today. He scored a goal, showing good desire to get there, but was pretty poor in his general play tbh. Has a lot to learn about controlling a midfield, but has all the attributes (played a couple of fantastic balls to rvp). Bashing of him today seems harsh imo.

- Speaking of rvp, i just feel sorry for our captain. He did all he could to help us out today, but had little or no service to feed on. Created an excellent chance out of nothing, which gervinho looked destined to score, but ended up badly missing. Was a key miss.

- VDV's first goal, imo, was a handball, but we can't blame the ref for it. had no chance to see what was what in that situation. Sagna should've put nmore pressure on him anyway. he had too much time to shoot for that.

- WTF is it about spurs scoring so many long-rangers against us?
Huddlestone, rose, bentley, jenas and now walker have scored decisive belters against us, all coming in different matches.

- Sczezsny, what can i say, cracking young keeper, but being brutally honest was at fault for the goal. However kept us in the game after his defence let him down on a few occasions.

- Regarding our defence... just not good enough today. mistake after mistake, it's like they've never played with each other before. look shaky as a unit. Individually, however, Gibbs was very solid today. Sagna also coped well with bale. Lord help us if he's out long-term, because i certainly don't trust jenkinson. Poor from wenger there, having jenko as our only back up.

- Most important point of all now though... WHY did we just seem to go into meltdown after spurs scored their second? THAT is where real leadership comes in, someone to tell the other players to keep calm and composed, not to panic. Granted, we didn't really panic, but we didn't exactly throw the kitchen sink at them either. We just did not have the required urgency after walker's goal and infact spurs seemed the more likely to score.

- Something else we are forgetting- this was pretty much their full line-up. We were missing Big Verm, Kossy and wilshere today. Meaning we had to play song in defence, who didn't do too badly.

Overall, we should've won today. VDV's goal was unfortunately not ruled out, and walker's shot should've been saved. Spurs were one-on-one on a few occasions, but that was really down to poor communication. As said above, Sczezsny saved our bacon. We also missed two well created opportunities, and failed to take advantage of our dominance when we drew level.

However, a good performance from spurs. Pains me to say, but they will finish 4th come the end of the season. They have beaten both their direct rivals, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Arsenal are just not good enough, this is the truth right now.

Didn't play badly??
Please can u rememba any notable saves that Freidel had to make??
Now compare that to how many 1 on 1 s Schezza made
If anything we would have lost woefully while so called "playing well"
Players looking busy but doing nothing
MF was so poor that It was our CB that had to come create the goal

I agree with most of what youve said.

I thought Ramsey had one of his better games this season tbh. As Arteta tends to play a bit deeper I think it might suit him to be more of an attacking player. Hes been used as a DM too much this season which isnt right for him and led to some poor performances.

VDV should have been booked for going to the crowd and whatever biased Hoddle says should have been off for a second booking.

The truth is that the way things have gone we could have been thumped today. Thankfully Spurs were not at their best and we were not at our worst and I'm thankful for that small mercy

You're just another average prem outfit like bolton now, I reckon you're stay up though if you can keep out of that relegation scrap

i can do it in stoke

the reason friedel wasn't tested was because we kept missing. we created 3 or 4 decent opportunities which were all off target. it's not as if we were poor creatiely today.

We lost and played a poor game against an average home side. I am very disappointed because we have seen it all coming, it was no surprise. Apparently that is the journey we are travelling, and nobody is doing something about it. We are not better than that what we played today as a team. Not even against an average home side. I do not see any positives from today.

That is a sensible and I would say accurate assessment of where we have fallen down to. We really look like a mid table team now and we are going to need to SCRAP for anything this season. Unfortunately I cannot see anyone leading us in that fight. I di think Arteta and Ramsey were very poor. Only Coquelin stood out with rvp!
