Spurs seemed to have turned a corner under Conte, but we all need to temper our expectations. I have seen some have said it is an incredible turnaround. Well it isn`t really. The football seems to be better, but the results are really what you would expect, and no different from last season, other than the 2-2 draw with Liverpool, which was very encouraging, and if Spurs had brought their shooting boots to the game, would have surely won it
I doubt Conte could have had a kinder set of fixtures to start his tenure at Spurs, not an away game in seven weeks in the Prem, and five successive home games against sides, Liverpool apart, you would expect any Spurs manager to win, Norwich, Brentford, Leeds and Palace. Next two games against Watford and Southampton again you would expect Spurs to win as well. The real test then comes, back to back games with Arsenal and Chelsea in the Prem, and the double header with Chelsea in the Carabou Cup semi-final. Come through those games unscathed, then I think we will really see what Conte has brought to the Party.
Top six looks best bet this season, Spurs still have to go to United, City and Liverpool as well as Chelsea, so some real tough away games still to play. Plus the three games in hand are all away. A cup could be on the cards, looks like maybe Conte has changed the mentality of the players so it could be that is the best bet for this season. Conte will then build on this season, and start to bring in some fresh blood. Absolutely number one priority is to shift some players out, and bring in a quality attacking midfielder, whatever the cost.

LOL my first article for three months and I have already had to dump one guy of the article for posting stuff a kid at school might have posted.

Sandy is alive and kicking!!! As you know Sandy, I have been beating on the Conte drum since last summer. He is a breath of fresh air and has ignited my passion back for Spurs, which i felt was lost the last 2/3 years. I am so positive we are moving in the right direction finally. But, that bald f** has to back him.

Yes hopefully, get a few new faces in over the next couple of windows, and Spurs can start to challenge, and actually put a few trophies in the cabinet. Not easy when you are up against a couple of financially doped clubs for starters.
