I wouldn't say it's necessarily ability, so much as attitude. Success is earned and if you aren't willing to put in the hard yards and work your butt off in the modern game, you won't attain success.

We can sit and talk about all our issues, but the biggest is the players simply m don’t put 100% in consistently. We are constantly outfought, our worked and outrun.

I gave this article 1 star because you are wrong

I have said for years that we could sign messi and this team would not look any better. Messi would even look poor. We signed CR7 and we still look poor

The problem is years of bad signings, managenent, coaching and culture in the post fergie years. This is what we need to solve

Ole "tried" to address the poor signings but bringing good players into a team with poorer players, coaching, management and culture will only see the new players drop their standard.

I believe a manager like Ralf has the experience to start tackling the deeper issues like coaching and culture and migght even help us when he eventually moves upstairs with the management side.

The problem created by almost a decade of bad decisions is not going to be solved in weeks. So chill guys

Thats 6 quality signings required before we can hope to challenge

Still down to the manager though... If players are being outfought drop them... for youth team players if necessary! But managers don't have the balls to make these decisions, thereby rubber-stamping gutless performances...

Why dont united go back to their front 3 of last season ? Seems to me like the TEAM have gone backwards with Ronaldos arrival. Cavani and Bruno were your best players last year. Play them together again.

It shunts Rashford over to the right quite a lot, which is useless. Once Sancho came on and occupied the right slot more, Rashford got into the game a bit.

Sadly though, i think the whole season will be looked on as one where managers tried to make a team with ronaldo in it work. He's provided some great moments, but I just can't see past that signing being the major disruption that will cause 2, maybe 3 managers a huge dilemma and ultimately, failure.
