It'd be great to see some great football based on some well planned patterns of play. However, even moreso than that tonight, I want to see us have a go from the very start. Snapping into tackles, passing forward with tempo and purpose and getting the ball into the box as often as possible.
Once we establish ourselves as a team that puts the opposition under pressure then we can refine our pattern of play. Sometimes I feel we expect to be able to do that without earning the right first.
At times we just let teams settle too comfortably into games. MU52 mentioned earlier a game where we were on the front foot from the off. More of the same tonight please. If we do that, and fully apply ourselves, we should see a decent performance and win IMO.

I'd like to see the same from United tonight as I do in every game.
Simply put:
* the ten best outfield players in the starting line up
* in their correct/best position
* width, spine and an effective centre forward
* the substitute level players on the bench where they belong
It's really not much to want to see

Sancho
Cavani
Ronaldo
Burnley will sit deep so we'll need a presence in the box for when the chances come.

That's pretty much it, except play awb (dalot cannot defend for toffee) put Ronaldo wider and deeper, & start with Fernandes - and bring dvdb on later if needed.
