The players

5 managers now since Fergie left and the football remains absolutely atrocious. These players don't even seem to be capable of doing the basics on the pitch. Far too many of them are just lazy passengers out there , going through the motions and some of them don't even appear to give a feck.
We have made Burnley and Wolves look like Guardiola's Barcelona in back to back matches.

- Sancho: I've been a bit too patient with him and have given him the benefit of the doubt so far but he just keeps disappointing me. He's struggling to even do the simple things. He's far too timid on the ball and seems scared to express himself on the pitch like he did at Dortmund.

- Wan Bissaka: put in one or two decent crosses tonight but generally he was absolutely cr@p again. This lad should not be starting any game for a club like United. He's league 2 level at best.

- Shaw: it's absolutely infuriating how slow , laboured and lazy this guy looks out there. He slows our play far too much , he lacks sharpness and I'm sorry but he needs to work on his weight again.

- Matic: ( see Shaw ) except he's not overweight , he's just too darn old.

- Rashford: I know he didn't play much tonight but the few minutes that he was out there he was utterly shocking again. Typical of how he's been this season.

By the way how much are the club paying the new setpiece coach anyways? Because whatever he's doing hasn't worked. We haven't improved at all. Not a single goal from set piece all season long.

To be fair to him he had every right to feel some optimism. I don't like posts like this. All football fans get lost in the emotion of stuff like this all the time.

Lots of Liverpool fans definitely thought United had made their best move since Fergie. In time I still think it'll be a good move.

Unfortunately United fans still seem quite entitled, and expect to win every game (fair enough after 20 years of basically doing so). So I don't see any managerial appointment working without time to build a decent side.

Everyone seems to be lashing out a bit over the last 12 hours, looking for some single entity to blame (the players, the manager, the last manager, the owners). But the reality is that it is a culmination of all of these things.

While Ragnick might not be the man to get us quick results, let's hope he has a plan for is and when he moves upstairs... That's what we desperately need and hopefully these few months in charge will make him fully aware of what is required.

I don’t think it’s a case of lashing out. Last night was just a symptom of what’s been happening for months (and infact years for the most part) so obviously people are going to react to it. We all know that there are deep issues within the club but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t focus on the players as part of that. I can’t speak for anyone else but for me it’s not even about results, it’s about performances and attitude. I am a season ticket holder who travels over from Ireland for as many games as possible, but I have to be honest, this team are sucking the joy out of me in terms of football. I don’t look forward to games anymore and even when we lose it doesn’t impact me the way it used to, I’ve become very ‘meh’ to it all, which is heartbreaking as a fan as you want to feel passion, both high and low.

Lmao. You all think he will be able to "go upstairs" after what he is doing now??? He will fail woefully if he actually carries the same mindset to upper management. He has not shown anything worth "promoting".

I tend not to throw away a man's entire career based on one match, Lmaolaughlol

Have you been watching the matches? And you really think it's one match?

posted on 4/1/22

I have, yea... and it's because i've watched every game that I'm also fully aware that there are many, many variables at play here... We have been terrible all season, we are clearly a club with zero confidence, from top to bottom, we don't seem to have the fitness to play a pressing game, an interim manager is going to struggle to get his views across in a few games.

While Ragnick is likely not the answer in a managerial position, he might have a clear vision of what we could be... who am i to say he can or cannot do that in more of a DoF role, just because he failed to miraculously turn around a broken club in a couple of weeks. (How many DoFs were managers at the highest level?).

If we want to move towards a more progressive, attack minded and pressing game, he might prove to be successful in stearing us in such a direction at board level.

Fair enough
But I'm definitely not Ralf out if that's what you're saying. The guy will be here for a few matches and then he can feck off! I'm not too bothered with him as much as I am with the players

It doesn't help when the same people spam the board with repetitive garbage.

Posts like these should help them not get too emotional
