For most of these players they won't get any better than United which makes it all the more mystifying why they don't bust a gut to perform to the maximum of their ability.
I supported Ole (probably for too long) but eventually came round to thinking we'd be better if he left. However, the players need to take a long, hard look at themselves too. Work hard and improve the basics and they can stay at the club earning big money. The alternative is maybe dropping down a level in terms of wage and prestige.
It's all so frustrating at the moment. Against Burnley McT for most of the game looked top class. Yesterday, he wasn't really in the game apart from maybe a five/ten minute spell where we looked like we could do something. He's not the only one though who's inconsistency is costing us and perhaps I'm unfair singling him out here. It's just that big variations in quality of performance isn't helping the manager at all.
If we transfer listed all the players tomorrow how many would realistically go on to bigger and better things? Ralf has a job on his hands to convince these players to perform and show they deserve to be at the club. Can he do it? I'm really not sure but I'm willing, as ever, to give the manager a chance.

I have given up on us ever being a serious elite club again under this ownership. I'm just going to continue going to games for the banter with the lads mainly and hope for the best. Maybe unearth some more younger gems from the academy. That's about all we've got to look forward to under the parasites.

Yup. And that's the gist of the issue. The main reason I supported Ole was because I believed would be the one who could mitigate their foolishness. They are not going anywhere so a manager that could work with them might get the best results for us.
Sadly I am now of the opinion that it will never be solved under their ownership. They will ruin any manager who comes and takes us over. Let's just hope we can maintain premiership status in the next 3 to 4 years.
