Door

So after this afternoon's presser, the Italian man in charge, told the press that the "door is always open" for Christian Eriksen.

I think we are in a position where investments this month specifically won't be big and even though Levy may have gone to see that elusive yachting fan Joe Lewis, there is nothing to suggest he will sanction big money moves.

As the player is looking for a club, would you welcome him back, knowing that we could do with a playmaker of his ilk or would his medical condition be a barrier?

Because this is what Conte wants. He famously didn’t fancy him in his Inter team due to his mobility and weakness in tackling. So why would he want him in a so called weaker team. Madness..
We don’t have a Dembele to carry him and Dele and co anymore .

Ssn. Georginio Wijnaldum remains keen to return to the Premier League on loan from PSG.

I think he would be a good fit for us for the rest of the sesson. Better than anything else we have.

Swap Ndombele for 6 months. Everyone's a winner.

Am afraid not for me due to his off the ball capabilities. The best teams have all outfield players getting in peoples faces and we are one of the poorest when it comes to a battle.
Eriksen can be a bit lazy and at times doesn’t put in a shift . We need more energy and aggression from our front players.

This is a myth. Eriksen did more running around than any other player.

I’m not sure I’d want us to sign him though, given the medical risks.

Eriksen used to always be one of the players with the most distance covered in a game, accusing him of not putting in a shift is a stretch.

Covering ground doesn’t mean he was as a good presser. If he was chasing me down and I saw him coming I reckon I could still drop him a shoulder and loose the facker.
Would put Kane in that bracket too..!

We really need to move on.

You had to be a good presser under Poch, so I think you're not making sense
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He really wasn’t a good presser. Reaaally don’t want him back. Agree to disagree and fine by me..
----------------------------------------------------------------------
i agree with you but not on the presser thing 😋

Think Ted above is right.

Insurance premiums for professional footballers are already eye-wateringly astronomically high.

I’d take him back in a heart beat

Eriksen use to cover more of the ground than any of the current lot.

Yep and most of it was running away from tackles or "pretending" to drop back and "help".

Not for me for sure great ability but plays when he feels like it which is why he has never been a regular in a top side.

Please dont say he was a regular for us because we are nowhere near a top side.
