Not much mention on here of our game tonight so how do we see it going.
From what I've read there won't be wholesale changes and it seems the players are determined to put on a decent showing. Now, I know they've said that before but the backlash this last week has been about them as a collective rather than the manager so, with that in mind, I do actually see a response tonight and a good win. I think at the very least we're going to see a bit more aggression and tempo even if it could still be a little disjointed.
I know the FA Cup isn't high on the list but, the way the club is at the moment, I don't think we're above any chance of a trophy. Plus, we really don't want to see Gerrard being happy at the end do we.
Prediction 3-1 United.

Honestly, I just want the players to look like they give a sheite for a change. If a squad with as many Mancs in it as ours can't get themselves up for a game against Gerrard, then they can all get to fvck.

You have to hope for some kind of difference, something that looks like we’ve been training for a week, surely.

Really hoping for a reaction from the players tonight, at least to the public questioning of their motivation and togetherness. I don't anticipate a fine performance, because I don't think this group of players are capable of switching from playing Solskjaerball to Rangnickball in a short space of time. But if they approach the game with positive minds and work hard, it shouldn't be humiliating.
