West Ham are massive?

Depends on your definition, obviously.

I'll tell you one thing though, due to a last minute personal reason I couldn't attend last night (the same reason that means I'm up at 04:10) so used the ticket exchange on Wednesday at 13:09 and my seat sold at 14:28.

So massive, maybe, maybe not, but we have a lot of passionate fans, 59,775 gate 99.6% attendance. Just for comparison that's 15,000 more fans than were at WHL at the same time for a cup semi final.

It makes a mockery of those who said we would never fill the stadium.

West Ham’s “heartland” extends well beyond the mass sprawl that is East London, well into Essex and the nether regions and I would expect high attendances. I can vouch for this through my time spent in the south-east and long-standing connections going back to the mid-60s.

Even through lean times, there was no sign of any of these folk swapping of allegiances. Miserable though they were on occasions (and I can relate to that), loyalties remained very much with the club, and I think this has been passed down through to the current generation of ‘ammers fans.

Not only that, there is only one Premier League club in the entire east London with a population over 3 million. And better transportation links than any other ground including Wembley.

It can’t beat the mad dash at full time to squeeze through that gap in the metal railings outside Upton Park tube to beat the orderly queue was forming along Queen’s Road 😊

Yes..good old days

The station and surrounding areas had gone through a little bit upgrade when Boleyn ground was about to close

No one is clamouring to see Spurs, your attendance on Wednesday was frankly a humiliation. Plastic fans with no pride, that's your typical Spurs "fan".

it doesn’t hurt coming from West Ham though, as your trophy haul is pathetic. You have never even won the league cup ffs

FFS, beating your chest for winning something that is more than 60 years old...

Not a single Spurs player this year team of the season..

And they want to be part of "elite" club

We aren't talking about trophies, please do try to engage one or two brain cells and keep up.

We are talking about Spurs being unable to fill their shiney new stadium, not even for a cup semi-final.

Not just Wednesday however, your attendances have been poor for weeks.

So which is it; less fans than you pretend or that a large proportion of your fans are plastic glory hunters? Has to be one of the two.

Spurs so full of pride for their new stadium, well 3/4 full.

the dropping attendances have been a mixture of poor football on display, covid around Xmas, and cup ticket prices being an additional expense on top of season tickets, as they do not cover them

....and not a large fan base.

Tottenham should never have built that massive stadium for footballing reasons. They are now basically a real estate company ☺️
