At least Boris

has apologised for the party, that wasn't a party but a work meeting, as was obvious from the booze and cakes on the tables. Also he hadn't seen the email inviting him to the party.

Sadly for him he now has to self isolate for a week, even though it is not needed by his own rules, but he likes to go the extra miles to keep all around him safe.
He must be disappointed that it will keep him away from cameras and media while it all blows over.

Just think, Boris runs the country.

Whether you like it or not

Conservative are here for another 8 years

FACT!
----------------------------------------------------------------------

It's obviously not a 'fact' but I don't dispute that it's likely. The Conservatives have a structural advantage thanks to many factors. One is the first past the post electoral system combined with hitherto unity of nationalist & plutocratic coalition relative to the division across the centre and left, combined in turn with the fact that the non-Conservative vote is more geographically concentrated and less 'efficient' at translating into seats. Another is inherent right-wing advantage in media, with right-wing print media and think tanks promoting the interests of the billionaire class and exerting a gravitational pull on the mainstream agenda. Another is the government's active moves to remove accountability (judicial review, media interference, criminalising protest, enabling breaches of the standards). And finally, reforming electoral rules (photo ID requirement expected to disenfranchise a million voters in Tories' favour) and redrawing the electoral boundaries in a way that will certainly benefit the Conservative party at Labour's expense.

Our exchanges in this thread are really quite illustrative of a broad swathe of current, mainstream right-wing discourse. You start making bullish and simplistic statements. Then it's pointed out that almost everything you have said is factually untrue. And your final word is basically "Ha ha, we're going to win anyway." This kind of politics, from Orban to Trump to Johnson, depends on shallow sloganeering and dishonesty because its only real aim is power. Why would it continually lie if it had valid arguments and good ideas?

Boris is also a lucky politician. On a potentially very bad news day(s) for him he has both Prince Andrew and Novak Djokovic deflecting the media glare away from him, whilst he sits at home in hiding with his ass hole twitching.

anybody who uses the words woke and snowflake as an insult has the brain of an amoeba.

In fact, look up the definition of the work woke.

Is that an oxymoron?

Amoeba do not have a brain

Proof.
