Djokovic Visa cancelled

Alex Hawke, the Australian Minister for Immigration, has cancelled Novak Djokovic's Australian visa "on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so."

This is effectively a re-deportation order for the unvaccinated nine-time Aus Champion.

An unvaccinated guy who had been trying to break the rules (and did break even more rules) he had been thumbing his nose at the rest of us.

The rules are for everyone, shame the world doesn't always get it right.

People that lost their loved ones while the Tories partied, must feel like fvcking a petrol bomb through the window at number ten.

Aye my grandad was buried three weeks prior.

Only 5 of us at the service, my aunty (his daughter) having to choose not to go as she is an NHS carer and as such wanted to reduce as much risk of her catching the virus, no wake so my mum going home and not getting the chance to mourn/celebrate his life with friends and family to help with the grieving process.

And then all these whanks were getting shiitfaced while clearly not caring about any repercussions given the amount of parties and seshes they were having.

For me this is the story.

How little they care about what others sacrificed. Its a state of mind for them.

Not just the little people either it seems? Her maj should maybe just take the initiative and save us all the bother. Whilst she's at it perhaps a new look at the honours system and HoL? Would be tragic if Boris was responsible for the juddering halt of those gravy trains.

Conditioned in the uk to believe that "special people" get special treatment.

That’s why we have have almost endless Tory governments

We have endless tory governments because the labour shower fail to source any credible alternatives. They just opt for box ticking and tokenism, as opposed to actually someone you think, damn they're good, i'll vote for them.

Sadly true. Their supporter base has shrunk so much they even more beholden to the union bloc than ever therefore compromised for the majority.

So true.

I’ve mates who’ve moaned about the price down their local but will happily chuck in a £20 after a £20 on a day out without giving a monkeys fart on what price they we paying.

Pretty hilarious.

Would have been quite funny regardless, but I think his smug instagram post before flying into the country makes it much funnier.

I would agree with this if Boris Johnson wasn't the PM. Boris is so sheet that almost anyone Labour put forward would be a better choice. hard to buy the argument that Labour can't do any better than the shower of sheet that's been in power.

I think people are reluctant to admit that a significant percentage of the population prefer the Tories' stance and politics on the major issues like immigration and foreign aid, among others. There's a "Britain first" smell around the Tories whereas Labour are seen as sellouts.

If Labour suddenly adopted similar approaches to the major issues they would wipe the floor with the Tories but that would be a betrayal of their principles and commitment.

Unlike the Tories, they're reluctant to go populist and sell their soul in exchange for winning (an election or vote).

Yep.

Can’t disagree with that. Which is why Tory governments can do as they do.

They’ve no opposition.
