1 Year deal until 2023.
Club has an option of a further year.
Sensible given his injury past. Good to hear that he has taken that deal showing his commitment and gratitude to the club for standing by him for 2 year.
He could easily have pushed for more years or refused to sign and leave on a free in the summer for a longer deal elsewhere. Sort of bloke i am happy to have in our trenches and lets hope he stays fit now
Players out of contract summer 2022
Nohah Kennah
Ryan Henderson
Kun Temenuzhkov
Laurens De Bock
Bobby Kamwa
Forshaw

Good news, and sounds like a positive endorsement for anyone who backed him to be an important player in the summer

The thing is that we all knew this wouldn’t be a problem didn’t we?
Did any of us for one second think that Forshaw would be putting feelers out elsewhere? He just seems like a decent bloke with strong morals that would want to do the right thing.

Well, if he maintains his form and stays injury free for the duration of his contract, those people can absolutely consider themselves endorsed… whoever they may be

Indeed. Pleased for the player and the impact on the club rather than validation of previous positions held on here.

Fair play to Forshaw, coming back from such a long lay off. A likeable player breaking up play, but could really do with him being more proactive. Currently the master of winning the ball doing a pirouette and passing the ball backwards / sideways at best. Unless he can take more responsibility its a supporting role at best.

Was excellent ever since we signed him. Done well to come back after such a long lay off

I'd put him down as good Championship / lower Prem quality. I'm pleased for him too - seems like a good bloke.

Sensible all round
Considering how much he's played after so long put he's done well.

How much cash are you putting into the club each season to buy all these superstars you expect?
