Bruno Fernandes

Quality player and scored a great second goal (the first one was jammy AF) but does anyone else have an irrational dislike for the guy? He’s just so embarrassing with his cringeworthy rolling around and making facial expressions like he’s just been shot (for film buffs just imagine him in that famous Platoon/Tropic Thunder scene).

Well the Cantona Top, takes the biscuit!!
The absolute nerve!

Yep, he's taking the mick out of the clubs history and traditions yet there's people that love him and want him captain.

Shambles.

Oh hey, I was being you know…
Look, he frustrates the hell out me sometimes, but we owe a debt of gratitude. The man lifted the whole club into his shoulders and ran with it.
Sure the bubble popped. Was always gonna at some point. But others need to step up.
Where would we be without him? I’m not saying that gives him a free pass with his antics, especially when it’s going wrong. But he is essential.

The club lost 2 semi finals in 10 years before he shown up, on his watch the club lost 4 in a row.

And won 1… if we gonna be factual. But how you gonna put that all on Bruno?
Like saying we won it all on Phil Nevilles watch!

Before he came, Ole was steadying the ship, but the narrative around the club was, we were not even a top 4 club anymore.
When Bruno comes, all that starts to change. Expectations have grown, and the disappointment of the season is a big one. Embarrassing even.

But Bruno is a key player, no doubt.

Bruno is the type of player that looks good in an average team that has no structure or style of play because he can try 20 Hollywood balls per game and maybe 1 or 2 will come off and he'll get an assist.

However, there's a reason none of the top top teams have shown any interest in him. His tactical awareness and ability to retain the ball is lacking.

Having said all that, he's the perfect no.10 for us in our current state and I do often feel sorry for him having 2 useless midfielders behind him in every game and selfish wingers either side of him

A fine footballer

It's irritating but if this sense of injustice he carries helps keep his adrenaline levels up then I can accept it. Much as it makes him look like a jackass

This is the thing. You get players like this sometimes - Suarez comes to mind - where I reckon if you took away the annoying, dislikeable traits you don't end up with the same player.

So I can bear it. I don't agree with anyone who thinks he should be captain though. Definitely doesn't behave like a leader on the pitch.

Now this **** is apparently wanting wages on par with the highest earners, a player who disappears in big games and gloats about scoring penalty's in the clubs joint biggest ever home defeat while calling Ole's tactics from that game perfect.

Pogba (who's actually delivered silverware for this club) does it and it's a disgrace, but this bottler doing it will no doubt be ok in the eyes of top reds.

Who the hell does he think he is, sell him this window and if there's no takers send him to Ole's back garden and he can take pens there.
