Why are Spurs fans so ignorant of their own teams history?
Following the postponement of the north London derby, I've seen many comments about how it's particularly bitter for Spurs after they "gifted" Arsenal 4th place in 2005-2006 after getting food poisoning from lasagna.
A subsequent public health enquiry (samples from Defoe's shorts presumably included) totally exonerated the hotel and it's food and found the Spurs players had a simple norovirus that most have been circulating in the squad before their hotel stay.
Spurs and some news outlets that had reported at the time it was food poisoning had to apologise to the hotel.
So Spurs fans, if you're going to whine at least get your facts straight.

That’s true, what will it be if you beat Leeds today - 7 points above us but Spurs having 4 games in hand and still to play you at our place where we have already beaten you this season - last month in fact. So 2 wins and a draw and we could be above depending on GD - what a scary lead you have.
Are West Ham going to bother winning a trophy in the next 40 years? Asking for a friend
