Harrison

I’ve seen so many on here, on Twitter and on Facebook slamming Harrison and saying he was a waste of money.

I wonder how foolish they feel tonight?

Great game to watch and for long periods we were very much in control.

Love winning in London.

couple of months ago would have agreed, now not so sure.

If James can develop some composure, he could become a top goalscorer - he could have bagged a few today if he'd kept his head. No matter - he had a brilliant game, as did the rest of the team. So proud of the lads.

Deluded fans.
Really think fans just don’t understand what money buys these days.
£11m for winger isn’t a great deal.
Yes there will be bargains like a Demari Gray for £1.5m
There’s also the like of Pepe for £73m

I would say Jack is a midrange premier league winger and would expect to pay £20m for that.
Absolute steal at £11m

Again some short memories about just what Jack Harrison has done for this club.

Crikey, I had to google Pepe after reading that. I assumed he was a kid coming up through Arsenal's academy, but he's 26 with a £73m price tag and doesn't like being man-marked.

Ouch.

His performances this season have been well below the previous, but he’s been getting better lately and today absolutely superb. I’ve heard people saying similar to that tbh, which is the truth imo.

Agree

Been well below par all season but had his day today and fair play to him. Just because he played well doesn't mean critics need or warrant being called out.

Let's be honest, quite a few players have been off form during the first half of the season. Those who played were great today though, particularly Harrison of course but also the U23 players. The way we went at them reminded me of that first game at Anfield last season. Relentless. Klich was very unfortunate, as was Raphinha.

Agree it seems like James is a better option than Rodrigo but would prefer to see Gelhardt there.

Really superb three points - I'm buzzing tonight!

The whole team has been under par this season but Harrison was singled out by many as a waste of money.

Tough if they are getting called out now.

You could argue the same with Roberts with regards keeping his head in front of goal. Still, when Paddy comes back, that will render that irrelevant.
