Most entertaining team in the league?

One thing I love about Spurs is, good or bad, we are always involved in amazing games. We are capable of producing comebacks like the one today, and equally as capable of letting the opposition produce a comeback like it. We are always at that point of being rubbish enough that we can't predictably see off the opposition with a boring win all the time. Always capable of some kind of drama.

When I think of games we've been involved in over the years, particularly against the rest of the big teams - the game against Liverpool just this season, the Battle at the Bridge when going for the title, the 5-3 against United, all the classic derbies we've had over the years against Arsenal and West Ham. Our derbies are the most entertaining in the league. I haven't even mentioned some of the classics we've endured in Europe or the cups either.

We must provide the neutral with the most entertainment in the league?

Old-fashioned but:

“It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.”

Bill Nicholson

It's Spursy, but it's never boring. Maybe that's part of it.

Yes I think Bill, in a far more poetic way, was trying to say the same thing.

No - that would be Arsenal, we've been serving up classics since '79.

79? Things became a bit more entertaining when Wenger arrived but before that it was boring, boring Arsenal. Arsenal were boring for more than a decade and everyone in England knew it. Arsenal were proud of it. '1 nil to the Arsenal'. Proto-anti-football. Wimbledon with more money. Poverty football for soulless fans that are happy to win aiming low. They lucked out with Wenger who was at odds with the ethos at Arsenal when he arrived. He would have been a better fit at Spurs had the owners at Spurs not jogged him on in typical Spursy fashion.

Get used to it. More neutral fans follow Spurs much much more than Arsenal.

Arsenal

They used to be one of the most boring sides in world football. You obviously don't remember the 1-0 to the Arsenal.
