What a wonderful way for the team to honour the man who , among so many great accomplishments , basically made our youth academy such an outstanding institution within the club , by having three academy graduates score our goals last night and another one who was basically the MOTM in my opinion

I hope we appoint a manager in the summer who is going to continue this tradition and bring these players on.
There are incredibly high hopes for Hannibal Mejbri for example. Could end up saving us a fortune to play in our midfield.

Now he really was a legend. I got to say hello to him once as he walked by, and got a nod.
The best tribute was winning the European Cup in 1968.
This may seem odd, but I thought he had a great voice, low and slow.

Got his autograpgh and spoke to him a few times. Once in Safeways in Chorlton precinct.
