There more to football than stats.
You have someone like Dele who had great stats but not the best footballer. Not my type of player.
Am convinced Traore will be a great signing for us creating more space for others , good in the press , speed to burn and technically sound.
Will he improve our squad for the better. Hell , yeah

But deal not over the line yet.

I think against lesser teams Winks will make way for Lucas.

I think Traore makes sense at this point.

I don’t think he’s what we need to win trophies, but this season isn’t about winning trophies - it’s about top four, and to do that we need a better “squad”.

Does he improve the first team? I’m not sure. Does he improve the squad? Yes. Which I think is going to be very important in a congested run in.

I think we are being a bit harsh on Davies, he has been playing very well lately and I think this is entirely down to the Conte effect.
Traore will be an excellent player for us, whether as a starter or an impact substitute.
I think Conte has specific plans for him, to turn him into a better player and a difficult to play against wing back.

I would rather keep Moura in the team than Winks, purely because he is quicker, more skilful and can score goals. He also does what defenders hate, dribbling right at them and often opening up space for others. He is also one of our best players heading the ball and out jumping players 6 inches taller than him.

This...he will be an immense super sub till he gains consistency. If he doesn't improve, at his current level he will still make an impact on the match. I look forward to unleashing him against slow left backs.

Once he beats his left back the CB will have to come across to cover leaving g space for Son and Kane.

Think about the stick players like Moura and Bergwijn get about their decision making and final ball ffs
And we are buying a player literally famous for it.

I think it’s a waste of a squad place and 20mil.

But obviously if he signs I’ll support him and cross my fingers that he will defy all the odds.

I just can’t see Conte “wanting” him. But if he does, fair play.
I heard it’s Paraticci that eyes him.

Still don’t think Winks is a top 4... or even a top 6 player...even though he has improved...

We can do better...

Think Holjberg could do with a bit of a rest...
