Hopefully. He's had enough opportunities and wasted them. But when he does leave, I'll not be surprised if we have to pay a portion of his wages like with Alexis. He'd be gone on loan now but Sevilla didn't want to stump up the cash. Not that I blame them

We did when he was on loan. And then effectively paid a fair portion of them by virtue of the small (in the millions) pay off when he was released. The payoff was 5-10 million. Disastrous tbh. But that's a consequence of having players on wages clubs won't pay. Or you are stuck with the player

That's true 👍. And tbf as bad as Martial has been in the last couple of years, it's not as bad as Alexis was. So hopefully I'm wrong and we can get him offloaded wothout much effort in the summer.

Maguire was one of the best centre backs in the league last year.

Maguire wasn't a donkey yesterday, far from it, he was good. If he keeps it up it will improve the team immediately
