Wolves v Norwich Match Thread

Date: Saturday Feb 5th
Kick off: 15.00
Venue: Molineux

Live @ https://www.ja606.co.uk/articles/viewLiveArticle/441764

After their defeat of Brentford in the league Wolves can enjoy a 2 week break before entertaining Norwich City at Molineux for their 4th round FA Cup clash.

Wolves head coach, Bruno Lage will be taking the game very seriously and will field the strongest side he can from the players available. Lage is hungry for trophies and sees the FA Cup competition as a real chance to bring some silverware to Molineux.

Dean Smith on the other hand must be under no illusion that Norwich are in serious relegation trouble and cup competitions are currently an irrelevance.
By virtue of a 3-0 away win at Watford, Norwich recently managed to drag themselves out of the relegation zone and whilst the carrot crunchers are wild with delight it may be prudent to add a little perspective here.
Norwich have won just 4 league games this season with all 4 wins coming against teams in the bottom half of the table.
They are currently 17th in the table but all 3 of the clubs below them have games in hand and when all those games have been played it is more than likely that Norwich will find themselves once again, rooted to the bottom of the table.

The upshot of all this is that in-form Wolves will field a strong side whilst struggling Norwich will almost certainly field a weakened one leading to an inevitable win for Wolves.

Gem’s prediction: 3-0

no way should Norwich have had a free kick in the first place. Perfectly good tackle by Kilman

This happened literally right in front of me, and to give a free kick was an absolute joke decision.

Amiga I don't know what your game is but I didn't make the comment that you have tried to attribute to me.
Do it again and you my friend are history!

By all means make me history. If you can't recognise a simple mistake. jeez, it's not like I was attacking anyone.

Connor Ronan scored another great goal for St Mirren yesterday and is being tipped for an international call up with the Irish manager in attendance

Very disappointed. There was a lack of passion for me, being a cup knock out game we did not seem to go hell for leather although we were better second half, did not learn much from my day except the Bird in Hand does some wicked cider as well as beer and there is a decent Wetherspoon near the clock in Stafford , oh and the new winger looks promising from the little we saw

Agree first half in particular we were slow and lethargic in our play. Ranks alongside Brentford as our worst home performance of the season against a Norwich team that looked ok at best. Beer was good in the Lych Gate where it was definitely a full house

So you went in the Butler's Bell HCTL. Predictably I got into the habit of referring to it as the Butler's 🔔 énnd, my ex picked up on this and unconsciously failed to drop the "end" on many occasions, often in from of the kids which caused a titter.

Remember her talking about having breakfast there once with my sister in law who exclaimed, "what, there's a pub in Stafford called the Butler's 🔔 end?!!" Yes said ex, oblivious to her error.
