Well now that the most pointless fixture

is now finished, and with the same predictable result, we can all move on.

Spurs simply cannot compete with the very best sides when they have to start with the likes of Tanganga, Doherty, Winks, Davies, Sessignon, all squad players at best. None of them should be starting in this sort of game, but Spurs don`t have a lot else. I thought Moura, Skipp and Regulion should have all started. And I did give Conte the benefit of doubt of his selection, but even he must know it was a poor starting XI. You have to ask why Skipp is not starting in games like this.

Although Spurs have been pretty well outplayed over the past three games against Chelsea, they have been on the end of some ridiculous bad luck. Three own goals, two penalties overturned, two goals disallowed. Surely one team cannot have that much go against them, and the other side benefit. Shocking decision from the ref today to rule out Kane`s goal, and it was inevitable from that moment on that the only outcome would be a Chelsea win.

Anyway we move on, and Spurs top four fate will not be decided by the games against the better teams, they will all be defeats, but they should have enough to beat most of the others home and away, if they can get two or three players in this window.

Not overly disappointed, because we knew the outcome before a ball was kicked.

Tanganga is all endeavour no ability and should be moved on.

Skipp isn’t good enough to have made much difference imo he’s squad filler at best.

United will sneak top 4 now I would have money on

Far better players than spurs and arsenal. We have some quality ones but think the system and having a favourable run recently has masked the bad defenders at the club. Dier and Romero need to get back up to speed quick.

Midfield is so limited and weak, gets out numbered with only 2 in there and hardly like like can use the ball well to make up for it. Weird to not stick to the 352, all he had to do was drop Skipp for Tanganga, perhaps he had a knock?

United are not that good, and they have a tough 2nd half of the season. I would not completely write off Spurs, but some of those current players need seriously upgrading.

Problem with today is that you are playing a decent side, so at least you have to put out your best available team, even if you have a few injuries. Conte clearly did not do that, so the result was inevitable as it always is.

Skipp is still better than Winks. But I get in the long run both may need to be replaced.

What worse is our average players have no aggression.

Makes the Traore signing even more pointless.

I called it hours before the game, stating that the Spurs players had ALL lost this game in their mind before even arriving at SB.

I agree it does not help when you are also playing the officials in certain games, this being one, and only hope, like me, you all made a few bob at the bookies. Clearly this fixture is an excuse to print money.

Nailed on penalty ignored, and in fact blown as a foul for you. Tanganga on a booking, trying to pull down CHO and the ref ignores it. Leg breaking tackle on Sarr that VAR looked at and somehow decided wasn't a red card.

Another foul on CHO that was waved away so that Spurs could attack. When we won the ball back and looked to try and break, THEN the ref decided to blow the whistle.

But sure, let's focus on the disallowed goal, where Kane put his hand on Silva's back. Was it a soft foul? Yes, no question. But if he hadn't have put his hand there, would he have been able to stop in time to collect the ball?

Blame Kane if you want to blame anyone, he was the one that gave the ref the chance to chalk the goal off.

And are you trying to claim that the Silva goal today was an OG? Take another look, that was his goal all day long. None of your defenders got close to it.

Skipp was possibly our best player after Kane & Dier when he came on.

The tackle on Sarr was a foul, possibly a booking but no where near a sending off offence.

I am still amazed how both Azpilucueta & Mount stayed on the pitched after telling the referee to f*ck off on several occasions.
On the penalty, I agree but no referees these days give one for holding or as I call it “rugby tackling” and it is something that needs to be eradicated from the game.
Yet Kane was penalised for barely touching Thiago who went down as if he had been hit by a bus!

In recent weeks Chelsea have dropped points against Brighton (twice), Wolves, Everton and needed a last minute winner against Leeds so I don't think it's too much to expect us to give them a game.

They must think all their birthdays and Xmas have come at once when they are due to play us.

We are so weak minded, let's hope Conte can change that (I won' t hold my breath).
