I'd be very surprised if they don't stay up. By the time it closes , they'll have broken the record for spending in a Jan window.

Why wouldn't Chris Wood cost £20m? That seems a good price buying from a fellow relegation threatened team for a player who has a decent strike rate and who only just turned 30.

A player who has a semi decent strike rate for a team that plays to his strengths and who in terms of goals to games ratio is falling fast.
The guy will be third choice at best by August and sold for a quarter of what they paid in 18 months. That's personally why I don't think Wood is worth 20 million.

So they’ll get 18 months for £15m, £10m per season for any Prem goal scorer seems reasonable.

Strange you don't see the quality of football with better players as a plus.

As for fans giving a fack what other fans think, when did that start happening i must missed it.

Would Weghorst is an interesting signing for Burnley. He's pretty much bundesliga's answer to Chris Wood.

No I don't, doesn't matter how cute you play if doping is how you got there. Take City for example. Their games are nowhere near as entertaining to watch as you'd expect and other teams draw more viewers and new fans, which is unprecedented as the most successful teams have always led in those areas. No one in the world respects a dopey cheat.

If it was me I wouldn't care either tbh so everyone is happy and content. Their fans won't care what I think but I don't care what they think either. Works both ways. So long as they keep our true and organic rivals away from the two biggest trophies then they can win as many tainted and plastic trophies as they can.
