Bolton Wanderers v Charlton Athletic

After the madness which decended at Morecambe it's home sweet home and hopefully a civilised meeting against Charlton. Once a premier league match both sides with a similar history, similar sized clubs and nearly identical records. Both played 29, 39 points and gd 4. Bolton in 10th one place higher due to more goals scored. Form wise Bolton 13 points from 15 and Charlton won the last 3. Team news. Santos is available having his suspension tonight lifted, Jones will come into the back 3. Key questions does evatt pick Lee in the 10 role or dapo and Bakayoko back in a front 2 with Charles. Kick off 8pm.

Going a bit mad. Thinking of the squad next season. Madine type meant.

We don't need a big man up front and no mentioning Nadine the big girls blouse. Normal sized quick lads is the future.

It's always good to have one big lad with a bit of attitude upfront. Good for imposing strength when needed and for nodding in headers. He would also need to be fast and a proven goalscorer.

just for the record, I'm pleased with what we now have.

Just to add to that, we are told that the recruitment list for next summer is well advanced. All we have to do now is sign them.

I don't think we do need a Madine type big guy. Bodvarsson does that job.

Maybe another mobile front man who can interchange with Charles so when he comes off knackered from pressing the back 4 we can bring someone on who can continue to harrass a now very tired defence at the end.

I wasn't expecting Simon Marland stepping down, let alone be the news of the day today.
He's deserved a rest he's been through it all over the years.

I wonder what team Evatt will put out tomorrow. He seems to be indicating changes again so we will just need to wait and see.

It will be a tough game and we need to win it to keep the momentum going.

Can we do it? Yes, we can?

One game at a time, if we keep winning the next game it'll be fine.
