Its raining clean sheets!

How many is that then recently?

2x Vs Arsenal
1x Burnley
1x Leicester
1x Brentford
1x Inter Milan

Great to see the base of our team is as solud as a rock. Plus you can add in set pieces to the liverpool attacking threat, so important when the games you play are tight or its just not clicking...brilliant squad

Didn’t watch the game, or listen to radio commentary. Only occasionally looked at the updates on the bbc match page.

Despite my limited knowledge of what happened in the game itself, it does seem as though Inter were all over Liverpool at one point, and then Klopp made the substitutions. Next time I looked at the updates, Liverpool we’re 1-0 up.

Sounds like it was great in game management from Klopp.

Great result for Liverpool tonight.

Their final ball let them down on several occasions but VVD and Konate also defended our box really well. Inter came flying out in second half and took control of thr game, we lost the midfield but Hendo and Keita coming on made a huge difference, inter tired too they've an old enough team.

Yeah Inter were really good actually. I thiught Vidal was the best mf on the pitch tonight until hendo came on; dont think we played well and gave the vall away far too much but...the deep squad...so in came hendo..keita..diaz and milner, we controlled it from then on.

Vvd and konate were basically too good for dzeko etc...i think at Anfield will be a different story, we should play much much better.

Grab a pair of the clean ones while you can cos no doubt you're spunking your way through them pretty quickly at the moment

Inter were never all over us

First half ended with their 3 attempts versus our 8.

They went hell for leather trying to match us and in the end ran out of steam around 60 minutes.

LFC took over the San Siro in the end anyway

Felt like Inter were the better side first half, they just really fluffed it at the crucial moment. Passing instead of shooting or vice versa.

Liverpool fixed things second half and deserved the win. It's a shame City are what they are, this current Liverpool club probably won't get the trophies their skills and consistency merit

Those are all rubbish teams though

The main thing for me is vvd looks like he is all business at the crunch time and there's a bit more bite to us.

Esp after the mini break.

It's also very telling that Inter couldn't register a single shot on target for the entire game

Yeah first half Liverpool were the better team and they struggled to deal with the high line, always being offside, even with shots counted on the stats as shots, actually would have been called offside if they had scored but they got corners from. Although they did beat it once and hit the bar. No shots on target for either team but an exciting 0-0 up to that point. I felt like our balls into Jota weren't sticking and Firmino needed to come on second half. I actually thought Firmino coming on for the second half was a tactical change but turns out Jota picked up an injury.

They then had a period in the second half where they were first to every ball and kept getting in on the defence, it felt like a matter of time before they scored. The changes Klopp made swung the momentum back in our favour. 2-0 was perhaps a bit harsh on Inter who played a good game but I felt the players dug in when required to and got the rewards as Inter tired towards the end.
