He's been out of the starting 11 a couple of times recently.

No idea if that's it but he's the type of in yer face character who wants to play every game.

Tbh I’m not fussed about it. If PEH puts in performances like he did yesterday while being pist at Conte, so be it!

Haha, I would like to think that as well.but alot of individual performances this season have suggested otherwise.

Palmers it's a sure sign conte is definitely gone in the summer.

I thought PEH had a very good game yesterday.

Holjberg had definitely been under par in recent weeks... but I feel that was probably down to the fact he was playing EVERY game....never rested... hence his recent performances.

BUT he was back to his best yesterday... like the player he was when we first signed him...

He obviously took being rested personally... which is a bit immature.

It just proves Conte was right to rest him.

It’s such a shame that Winks had to play previously, especially with Skipp being injured.

Winks 4th choice, behind Holjberg, Skipp & Bentacur... & heading for the exit door in the Summer, hopefully...

He was excellent yesterday.... 2 Points on PEH
1) It was obvious he needed a rest & he & the benefitted from that yesterday
2) Having Bentancur in the side means he can focus on what he's good at.... Shielding the back 4

I think he's one of those guys that needs protecting from himself sometimes..... Bit like Kane. He plays such an important role for the team that he can't really afford not to be 100%

I think the team is better for having a few strong & savvy characters down the spine of the side.... Hugo, Dier, Romero, PEH, Bentancur & Kane

Bentancur has that Latin American nasty streak/ street wise attitude in him, nicely balanced with the fact he can play

Hojbjerg would be one of the first players I would upgrade, so him blanking his manager is no real problem, he isn`t good enough to be playing every game and should not be acting like such an entitled mug.

No player should disrespect the manager for whatever the reason. This your typical modern player problem. Thinking they are the be-all end-all of football. Punk.
