Rangers to go through after extra time and penalties on Thursday night. Celtic don’t play any of our first 11 and go out. That’s my wish for this week. Ridiculous isn’t it wanting Rangers to go through and Celtic out but league is critical this season👍

Agreed, but we’ll probably play our strongest available side in Norway … which would be a huge mistake IMO. Look at the meh performances both OF teams put in today, after tough shifts in Europe. We really need to think big picture here. The diddy Euro comp we’re still in will earn us buttons vs the CL riches as champs this season. No brainer … or should be. Play it right and we can maybe afford a decent fecking LB … not that our usual first choice can be blamed today.

The tenner I stuck on Celtic back in November now looking very good value. The goal differences were the dead giveaway back then - Celtic demolishing teams one week then dropping silly points the next, while Rangers were scraping out wins that were just a slice of luck away from dropped points. Celtic showing they can dig deep late on to turn draws into wins too. Just a shame for us that the financial consequences of this season are so significant. We'll just need to get the direct qualification for the Champions League by winning the Europa League instead - after all, it's our European performances that earned the automatic CL spot for league winners anyway

I mean digging deep in terms of getting goals in the dying minutes of games. I don't have the stats to hand, but I feel like Celtic have been doing that more often than us this season.

We’ve only turned a draw into a win once in the last 5 minutes of a game this season. We’ve actually thrown more points away in the dying minutes than we’ve won.

The other worrying stat is we’ve went a goal behind in a third of all our league games this season. It was a rot that set in under Gerrard and has continued under the current regime.
