problems in the team, a proper CB that can defend set pieces properly, and a creative midfielder that can actually pass a ball forward, then Spurs will remain in 8th/9th.
Tonight another set piece goal conceeded. Romero and Dier are both average CBs, and neither is very good in the air at set pieces, is why Spurs have such a shocking record at defending them. Spurs simply have a very poor collection of CBs. I must be one of the few that really does not rate Romero that highly. He was so poor with the goal conceeded today.
This has to be the poorest result of the season, against a side that has won just two matches, and the Man City win was really just a fluke win going on the form since Xmas. Conte has a massive job on his hand with this bunch of players. If Winks is the best option of the bench, then you know you are in trouble.
Leeds at the weekend, would not be surprised if Spurs lose that as well.
Until Spurs rectify the two major

We should have played a back 3 with Rodon. Burnley are renowned for being good at set pieces. Once again we are undone by a headed goal...
I can’t believe the management didn’t see this coming...
Once again we lose with Winks in the side...
I’m sick to death of the poor decisions, prudent transfer decisions & weak mentality...
I can see Conte just thinking that he’s wasting his time here...

Have Spurs ever won a Prem match with Winks involved?

Winks is a major weak link when he plays
He just isn’t tough / strong enough
Would look great in Spain

Might get shot for this but a result like tonight is why Kane isn't a winner, uos his game for the big game under the lights the fails when it's needed, he's a great player but he hasn't got the winners mentality to drive a team to success.

Conte has been very dissapointing apart from the odd result here and there. If we walks then fack him. We are no better with him in charge than Jose.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Conte in reality is no better than Nuno, and worse than Jose. The players though are the main culprits. Sessignon, Davies and Winks are all Championship standard, Emerson, Dier and Romero are about mid table standard.

Kane was probably the only player busting a gut all game tonight for us
He can’t drag average and dross players to win every game
Kane is not the problem (anymore)

Kane is absolutely not the problem. Spurs defence and midfield is.

Difficult conditions I heard but that was really poor defending by Romero for the goal. Opposition player just wanted it more.

I would be more concerned that we didn't score rather than we let one goal in. You can blame defenders all you like, but if they hadn't't let one in it would have ended up a nil-nil draw which is just as unacceptable.

Spurs haven’t been able to defend set pieces since I started watching spurs in 1995. It will never change

I would have taken 0-0 pre game and then a win at Leeds if offered. That would have been fine. Especially because we all knew we would lose
