If Eriksen shows all the signs of recovery, surely he will be wanted by more than us, Spurs?

I think even if he has a cracking few months a lot of teams will be wary of signing him. If we show willing I'm sure we can get him. It's a no brainer for me.

True. Not only he could play bit parts for us, and make a difference in setpieces but he could train younger players this.

Until things when sour towards the end of his time with us Eriksen was a model professional who consistently had some of the highest distance covered stats. I think these stats were still high even when people were saying he had 'downed tools'. Someone who knows how to take set pieces would of course be welcome as you say!
