There must now be questions asked about Arsenal's Usmanov and his dubious investments in that club.
From Wikipedia:
Early years:
Usmanov became a dollar millionaire in the years before the Soviet Union collapsed. He set up a privately-owned for-profit company, cooperative Agroplast which produced plastic bags. He enriched himself considerably after the collapse of the USSR.
In the end of the 90s Usmanov was the General Director of Gazprom Invest Holdings, the investment-holding subsidiary of Russia's state-owned gas company Gazprom, and managed it for more than a decade; Usmanov left the company in 2014.
With the news that Abramovich has stood aside quite rightly, is it only right that this other vulture oligarch with frankly disturbing connections does the same?

Immaterial. He's not at Arsenal any more. My mistake. Move along please.

Abramovich has not stepped aside, he is still the owner of Chelsea.
He is trying to pull a fast one, but surely nobody is falling for this ruse. He needs kicking out, and all his assets seized, immediately.

Something very dodgy the way the club has just been handed over to a Charity. The club should be suspended indefinitely until Abramovich is completely thrown out of British football.

Not sure why it is difficult to understand what's going on here. Is identical to Stuart Hall passing all his assets over into his wife's name......just before the police arrested him for his crimes.
I think Rolf Harris did exactly the same.
Abramovich has many advisers, like all rich people, and knows Chelsea would be considered part of his assets, and therefore taken from him if the decision was made to seize his assets, given his obvious connections to Putin.
Then we all know the Chelsea Charity will miraculously hand it back to him in a few months, when everything dies down.
For me, this "business transaction" just tells me he IS one of Putin's mates even though he says otherwise, and he wealth is obviously dodgy.

Well, this is it for me. Why hand Chelsea off to a charity if he's clean? The move of a guilty man.
