Why blame ENIC on last night?

Somehow you are getting some fans still blaming last night on ENIC and Levy. In fact same with most shocking results against poor teams, ENIC/Levy still get blamed??

I am ENIC/Levy out 100% but if anyone genuinely thinks that the squad we have, even the line up last night, has to play counter attack and be unable to score against a Championship side, then you need to have a word with yourself.

Not spending, being uncompetitive with the top teams, seeing our general squad level drop etc are all reasons to blame Levy/ENIC. But losing in matches like yesterday, Mura, Burnley etc they are squarely on both the manager and players. And ultimately the buck stops with the manager. Shocking from Conte once again

It’s ENiC fault we only had Scarlett to bring on to save us going out the cup

I don't want us throwing alot of money on a new Conte team next season. The reason being, he won't be here long term so we will end up with a new manager the following season and half of our players won't fit a new managers system.

I'd rather bring in Potter and give him what he wants and build a proper team for our club.

I am very underwhelmed with Conte. I can't think of a more overrated manager for us that we have ever had. I wouldnt give a eht if he was to walk. I'd actually be relieved if anything. The bloke is a fraud who has steered us to early cup exits, awful league results and more toxic media coverage.

This 100%

The reason we only had scarlett to bring on shouldn’t even come to it. Why can’t a manager get Kane & co to beat a championship side. Also, why not give bergwijn more of a chance? He had a good impact yesterday and has pretty much been relegated to 5mins per match since he saved our bacon vs Leicester

The backwards stuff was doing my head in last night. Winks, Hojbjerg and Sessegnon constantly turning round and passing back - they we like an extra layer of Boro defence breaking up our attacks.

I remember watching Luke Shaw in the Euros - getting praised for being such a great player and yet I'd made a point of watching his every pass and for the entire first half of one match they all went backwards.

I don't get it. It's not ENIC's doing - it must be coached into them but this risk-averse play is causing a drought for the guys up front.

And Kane - he must have lost possession every time he touched the ball last night. And then spent the rest of the time jogging slowly around making sure he never got quite close enough to put a tackle in. That's not ENIC either.

ENIC are the reason 7 or 8 of our players are championship standard, and they are the reason we have no decent competition for our better players also.

This is the weakest Spurs squad for years with several poor players still here, making the same mistakes and losing games they should be winning.

That all falls on ENIC, they keep changing the managers but keep the same players, Mourinho was correct, different manager, same players.

The problem is, with ENIC, moving on and bringing in new players is like pulling teeth, so every window we are left short or with the same weaknesses. We need some ruthless owners, capable of efficiently building a squad and clearing out the deadwood with little fuss.

Yes all true but the squad is still good enough to be beating MIDDLESBOROUGH. Is it not?

ENIC are to blame for letting such average players linger in the squad for so long and not upgrading on them.

That's more or less the line up that beat City.

You have to look beyond simply blaming the ownership

And so ENIC not to blame, who hired Conte and Nuno and Maurinho, surely some of the blame must land on them, Paratici who ever, when will Spurs ever get it right
