We've also lost CL finals and semis to Milan and Madrid etc off the top of my head, so we'd have more Cl titles if the rationale you apply to United were applied to Liverpool.

The difference is that we've been better than United IMO. Simple as that, timing and circumstances is just wound licking.

You do realise that all those teams were the reigning champions of their own domestic league?

If European football was that bad, how come you lot never got close to a sniff?

They were so bad they were playing in the Sunday League instead of taking advantage of a weak Europe.

Liverpool and Utd have dominated more over the same period. More titles and in Liverpool's case, European Cups.
