This guy is a nightmare for any tactical coach.

Loses the ball 50% of the time every game and although he runs a lot, his positional play defensively is none existent.

In an ideal world, if we were striving for perfection then yes, we should sell him... but it just so happens that there are nine other positions in our first XI that require more urgent changes

Liverpool have been awarded 6 penalties this season. United? 3. You're going to have to get some new material. Hilarious as your current stuff is, it's a little outdated

Just look at last night. United couldn't get a penalty even if Howard Webb had been the ref.

3 penalties is a lot for a team that hardly ever makes it into their opponent's penalty box.

On the other hand Liverpool games are mostly played in the opposition third of the pitch which means only 6 penalties is an injustice.

Surely enough business to be done without selling players that do have something.

Get rid of those that lack quality this summer, the fine tuning will need to wait at least until next summer.

This should and has to be the busiest summer transfer window at United for many moons or your going for a Liverpoolesque era of wilderness.

I'm not sure winning well over a dozen trophies and the CL twice can be classed as wilderness.

1990-2005 for a club like Liverpool was wilderness.

Only league titles or Champions league end that imo.

United are 9 years into their wilderness period. Get this summer wrong and they will get to 15 at least imo.

It's also not going to happen.... We're losing too many attackers as it is.... Pogba, Cavani, Martial wants out, Lingard, Ronaldo likely to go if no champions league, Mata, Greenwood

We're left with Rashford, Elanga and Sancho in attack

Donny still not convincing and you want rid of our only attacking mid

Just buy the fkn defensive midfielders we actually need to buy anyway

I'm not talking about 2 DMs. But both have to be prepared to do the dirty work as well as having quality on the ball.

And do you think it's realistic we sign 2 top CM's in addition to the CB and CF we need in a season we have no Champs League football to offer?

No, I suspect that we will sign one top CM - probably a specialist DM. But if we get Ten Hag in then I would think that he will utilise VDB - probably slightly more advanced that the DM.

It is pretty much impossible to know whether we should keep Bruno without first knowing who the new manager will be.

I just dont see us improving the midfield enough without sacrificing the No 10 role.
