Tbf I would place little importance on those polls. I work in stats and it's like if we produce a survey asking "would you like a new table to be produced on such and such a topic?" The answer will overwhelming be yes.

Conducting a poll like that when Ronaldo and the team are doing poorly is deliberately only aiming for and only ever going to get one result. If they did the same poll tomorrow, asking the same people, more would probably want him to stay. We're a fickle and easily manipulated bunch.

If we weren't about to shed a few other attackers this summer, I would think it best to get rid of him though. I'm just not sure what our transfer plans are and whether we're actually in a position to get rid of him. If he demands to go if we don't qualify for CL I'll not complain if he's sold though.
