A week after Manchester United managerial candidate Pochettino was knocked out of Europe by Champions league royalty in Real Madrid his great managerial rival Erik Ten Hag threw away a great chance of making the quarter finals against a Benfica side with dads army figures like Otamendi and Verthongen in defence.
In what is a massive blow to his chances of taking over from Ralf, Ten Hag’s odds of being the next United manager have suffered a hammer blow.

I don't really see that much to separate them in terms of their track records.

I think Poch edges it as he’s managed in the PL before and has taken a badly run club to a CL final.

He also lost a title race to Leicester.

He’s learnt from that and is leading a league with current CL knockout stage Lille, 2019/2020 CL semi finalists Lyon and 2016/2017 CL semi finalists Monaco by 15 points
He’s learnt how to be a champion which was the final stage of his journey to becoming United manager and saviour.

I only count the top 25 leagues in Europe as relevant
The Norwegian league is sandwiched between the Kosovan Alpha league and the Lapland Santa Cup
