Could the arrival of Ronaldo possibly have messed up Rashford’s mojo?

Give him the international break off. Let him come back and ease him back into the side.

Personally, i think he gets next season to step up, otherwise the club should sell.

No. I think this goes back to losing out to Martial in the No:9 race. But the next season, both of them drop form. Martial the worst offender.
But then they say Rashy playing injured, but yet plays the Euros. His form already dropping.
And now he’s even worse. His overall gameplay is so bad.
When there’s 5 players in front of him, he tries to run right through. When it’s just one guy, he can’t beat them. His link ups and decision making is poor, and his effort, is so bad.

He is in awful form. But over the course of his career at United he has a superior goals/assists to minutes ratio than Mane has at Liverpool. That's not to be sniffed at and we shouldn't give up on him just yet. Especially when you consider the fact he's played in weaker teams and also been hampered by injuries the last 2 years.

always interesting though to see the same posters leap to the defence of rashford, and offer every excuse under the sun for him, as will heap vitriol on, say, martial (who has a better pl goals/assists record than rashford, when excluding penalties), or pogba (more assists than any united player since saf).

The excuses for Rashford makes me weary. At the point it's almost sabotage. Did you watch him on Tuesday??? I would have preferred an actual under 21 player than what he offered. If I were manager I would fine him and let him file a law suit.

His lack effort shows he does not love the club

His lack of improvement shows he refuses to work on his weaknesses

His lack of humility shows he does not think him improving his football is important to him being an important player for United.

I can understand Pogba being lazy, Ronaldo being contemptuous, but an apparent local English lad being this dramatic

The stat is true. If you want to only go with pl games for some reason then Mane's are marginally better.

because posters such as yourself, and se85, will slate pogba and martial (see, i mentioned him too), but roll out all the excuses available for rashford. certainly didn't see you quoting martial's goals and assists record when he was being linked with a move away.

and there are some very obvious reasons for using the pl only, the most obvious being that we have been in and out of the cl for the past few years, whereas liverpool haven't, so it would be silly to compare rashford's europa league goals to mane's cl ones.

You're talking rubbish. I've been one of Martial's biggest supporters over the years. And I'm not against Pogba staying, but I think that if he does Bruno would have to leave. And I'm not blindly defending Rashford. He's been terrible this season. Last season he was average but still posted respectable figures despite. I still belive there is a good player in there if we can get him going again.
