Hmm...there's some great posters on here but a lot spouting turgid garbage like that and doing it on aregular basis.

That's why I'm going to stick to looking in from time to time and posting occasionally.

Looking at the traffic over the past few months I'd say that it's probably unlikely that it was me that was driving folk away from the site as several had claimed.

It's funny to see folk dredging up my posts from months ago. I'm still there rent free in some heads.

Anyone remember Patrick the clothing brand? Absolute bottom tier football boots.

My mate (not Patrick) still gets called Patrick for wearing them in 1st year

Wore Patrick rugger boots.TBH it's all just fashion. When I were lad 90% of kits were Umbro and you just bought Umbro.

Bought a pair of astro-specific boots when they first came out cos our work team started playing on 2G. There was fook all could help you play on 1G. Anyway, first outing, like JFK, body turned, knee turned, new boots gripped like fck as intended

Think I only made one outing after that - in goal - save a match winning pen right enough.

Aside from that spent thousands over the years on junior. Adidas far superior to Nike amongst the top 2 though Mizuno were the boots he thought best but wouldn't buy in case he got a slaggingGets Adidas freebies now thank fook.

Mizuno Kangaroo leather boots were my favourites, like wearing slippers, loved them boots.

Mostly Adidas Kiaser 5s or similar in my astro days.

Done my knee about ten years ago, gutted, I miss playing.

I do take the point though.

Remember Champion, the cheapest schite and would get you a slagging now £50 quid for a top.

I do like some of this 90s revival gear though.

When Champion came out over here at first it was pretty cool and pricey.

You could only really get it in Aspecto in Glasgow back in the 90s. The original Aspecto on the corner diagonally across from Greaves.

I think somewhere in between it became a bit JJB Sports though.
