Is it really that bad? We’ve lost one of our last 10 league matches (to City) and have gained more points than anyone bar Liverpool and City since Ralf took over.
We’re miles from actually being a good team but our next three matches (Leicester, Everton and Norwich) are ones we should realistically be looking at getting 9 points from. If we do it might just change the mood a bit.

I think we've played well in some of the games. I just think we've been missing chances at crucial times that means we've maybe not capitalised points wise.
I know you can't score every big chance but it makes a difference missing one at 3-0 and the other at 1-0.

Ronaldo aint been paid enough! thats a shocking case of affairs.

after ole went, we were generally playing poorly, but getting very lucky with results (chelsea, arsenal, newcastle etc).
recently, we've generally been playing well, but that wasn't reflected in the results (boro, burnley, watford).
even against city and atletico, we played pretty well for long(ish) periods.
of course, whilst playing well(ish), we've been knocked out of all cup competitions, and probably/possibly found top 4 out of reach, but it's been disappointing - though entirely predictable - that people have immediately reverted to the "all our players can f@ck off/overpaid mercenaries/it's a disgrace" gnashing of teeth over the past week or two.

It's the number of times we've failed to score that is alarming.
Performances have ranged from meh to good, nothing spectacular.
We still fail to control games and appear clueless and one dimensional when faced with teams that drop deep and defend in numbers. We are still suspect in defence and for all DDGs heroics he's as much of an issue as our defence and midfield.
To play Ralf's high energy pressing style we need better FBs and a decent RW similar in style to Sancho. We also need better fitness to last 90 minutes.
Otherwise, yeah all great !

I think under Ole we were, at times, 'Moments FC'. Now, to me at least, it seems we have more opportunity for these moments but that we're less likely to take them.
I thought the players mostly put a shift in the other night but the quality wasn't quite there. There is work to be done of course and I do think we should let players go in the summer as well if not fully committed. That includes the likes of Ronaldo, Pogba and Rashford (although I think there's something deeper going on with him at present).

Actually wouldn't be agains that. The problem Ralf has is the fact he's not given free reign to build the squad how he'd like, like the likes of Klopp and Pep were when they took over.
Problems stem deeper than who is the manager at United.
I'd like to see Ten hag come in, but if he isn't given the tools to do things his way then what's the point? The same can be said of Ralf. How's he supposed to adapt us to his way of playing if he isn't given the tools to do it?
City couldn't play how they do if Pep wasn't allowed to completely change the defence so they could play higher up the pitch.
Same can be said of Liverpool with Allison and Van Dijk.

I like Ralf and I think he'd do better as a manager if he had that control. I like his honesty and he refuses to indulge the players when talking about them. Very matter of fact. Because of that though, and if he were given free reign, I'd like to see him move upstairs and be the no BS football guy we need there.

I like the fact Ralf is honest and says It true when we are crap but I don’t like the fact we are crap
