I think this is good news. Let them focus on UTD.
But does kinda stink…
So the 2 players he brought on, in the last minute, to score Penalties in Englands biggest game since ‘66.
Get dropped, cos of ‘form’.
But Maguire, who got arrested in Greece, and has had a shocker of a season, walks back into the team, cos he’s been good before.

Just looks wrong to justify Maguire. Don’t talk about form and then contradict yerself.
And if that mug scores, he best stay humble, and just jog back into position for kick off.
Maguire is one of the major problems we have at UTD.
He’s been found out, and we’ll continue to suffer. We need to be ruthless. We were in the past, when players time came.
As ruthless as it was, it was understandable. And I think everyone would understand UTD cutting loose Maguire and taking a hit on the 80m

Both of those players have largely been crap for England, and both haven’t had good seasons at all, though Sancho is turning the corner. Maguire is awful domestically but does well for England.

No issue with southgate’s picks.

Maguire is a key part of the team, Rashford and Sancho aren’t.

I know he’s performed for England. I get the loyalty.
Rashford of course doesn’t get picked.
Sancho..fair enough. No gripes.

But now seeing Maguire annoys me. That’s our Captain you know. Annoying.

And I would always pick form over loyalty.

I have never had a clue what the hell Busby watches. It isn’t the same as everyone else that is for sure.

But his form for England is what keeps him in the team. Ultimately it doesn’t really matter how he plays for United if he is playing well for England, they are different teams after all.

England have just come off the back of the best form they’ve ever had in a year of football. The defence has been the reason for that. Southgate would be stupid to drop Maguire off the back of some poor form for United.

He has only two more England camps before the world cup, I believe. Now isn’t the time to start facking about trying to build a new defence.
