What is the point

...of these "International Friendlies"?
Does it help the National Teams when their top players will not be giving 100% for fear of an injury that may make them unavailable for their club in the final matches of the leagues season?
What can the national team managers learn that they should already know?
Can anybody give a valid reason for these games because I cannot see one?

Well, people moaned and moaned so they created the nations league, and then people moaned and moaned.

Ofcourse it helps. They don’t get the chance to play as a team that often

You wonder why people on a footy forum supporting a football club don't get that.

Meh. Scrap the friendlies. Playing together is overrated in modern football and if all of them don't play then its the same for everyone and therefore fair.

As well as allowing the national team to work on their performance and tactics, it helps bring in money for the national FA. The FA is responsible for things like FA cup prize money, maintenance of Wembley, supporting grass roots football (even if they don't do as well as they should here) etc. They need income streams for this.

Also, some teams have world cup qualifiers, which means the PL would be off anyway. So the option isn't between a club league match or an international friendly. It's between an international friendly or absolutely f all anyway.
