Well they are the set up games that for sure but the games they set up will do the defining

Hopefully we will keep on the winning run.

Can't see any favours from burnely so a good win tomorrow is needed just to keep gd going.

Benfica is a huge game then. Win well and it sets everything up.

Jota only put in 70mins in each Portugal game.

With mane and salah on 120mins midweek and of course Diaz on a plane and firmino being fully rested I have a feeling

I do have a feeling Burnley coild get something..."assuming" we beat watford then city go into the Burnley game 2 points of top spot...so its a must win game for them; something they haven't had to do for a long time in the league.

Psychologically its a whole different mind set and when i watched them Vs Palace they were snatching at chances and at the end their body language wasnt great...go back and watch game highlights and when they came of the pitch.

Burnley play Everton midweek and Norwich the following weekend.

they have a slightly better GD than everton but are 4 points down.

They have 11 games to go, the same as everton. they probably can't catch leeds at this point but only probably.

This puts the EVERTON game as the single most important game of Burnley's season.

If i were them I would not kill my players knowing city will probably win anyway. I might say ok go out and see if you can defend for the draw but the second city score i am already thinking of subbing off key players.

Everton play west ham away on sunday as well so the strong temptation is to write off this city game for Burnley and really go at everton.

the next week will either put everton in the mix or save them imo. If i were everton i'd write off west ham as well and focus on burnely.

ESP if LFC can do them a solid and beat watford. If everton can win then those terrible fixtures coming won't seem so bad.
