Idaho is not the deep south. They just passed a law which allows the families of rapists to sue the victims if they have an abortion.

Was already mentioned but the Tennessee bill designed to allow "other form of marriages for those who have a conscientious objection to the current pathway", yet removes the legal minimum marriage age of 17 too.

The US is only just getting started down this path, just wait a couple of years til the religious mentals regain power. The US is in big big trouble.

No it isn't FFS. Yes some states have far more religious influence than others but it will change in time, the younger generations are far less bought into the religious extremism of their elders.

Plus this issue is mostly in the deep south, in a minority of states. I know everybody is desperate for some kind of US collapse but it's not happening.

Yeah. Ohio and Pennsylvania may not have as many evangelicals, but they make up for it with the numbers if naazees and white nationalists. Same in the Pacific northwest.

I'd add that the anti abortion movement isn't exclusively religious.
Its heavily supported by white nationalists as they get closer to becoming a minority in "their" country.

The push for abortion laws to be changed in the US is a white supremacist thing. Statistically white women are more likely to get abortions and by limiting their ability to do that it stops the likelihood of black and Latino babies outnumbering white babies in the US eventually
