I actually think it was an appropriate decision. I didn’t say otherwise.

But you wouldn’t know that, because you didn’t create the thread to discuss the relative merits of the arguments in favour or against, did you?

each thread is open to debate. My thoughts are. Pretty clear on what I think and that is trans women competing with naturally born women is unfair mainly down to biological reasons.

Once again, it isn’t about agreement or disagreement. I agree with the ruling, as it happens.

It’s about the acceptance or otherwise of the discrimination and abuse of persecuted minority groups. It isn’t OK to use racissst language, it isn’t OK to use homophobic language, and it isn’t any better to use transphobic language.

I think people should be shunned for overtly bigoted words and actions, but surely you see the issue with "It's okay to use dehumanising language when it's people *I* deem to be worthy of it"?

Wait, so now it's bad to celebrate the victories of persecuted groups, even when you're not a part of one?

Boy it's really difficult to keep up with these ever changing rules. Almost as if they contort to whatever arbitrary position is needed to suit your side...

Plus they ain't banned - they're just not able to compete with women. Can still compete with men.

If you go back and read my comments, you’ll find that I haven’t insulted or labelled anyone.

I referred specifically to the comments as Neanderthal, and not any given person or group of people.
