I think Dusan Pernis could be set for a move to the EPL shortly. Last season Fulham were linked with making a move for him. However I don't know if he will be going to London. My understanding is that Aston Villa may sign him. Brad Freidel moving to Tottenham has left them short of a keeper. Alex McLeish has been linked to the job but I reckon he'll miss out. Mark Hughes has been linked and he was previously with Fulham.
Is Mentel going to be our new keeper? I've heard he is good with the only downside being his kicking. Banks could be good for another year. Combe surely couldn't be coming back, could he?

I was surprised Banks was picked over Mentel at Ross County in the cup, not complaining but I thought that Mentel was signed as the back-up. Seems we are a bit heavy in the keeper department, probably expected Dusan to go last season or in the Jan transfer window. How long is left on his contract?

his contract is up at the end of next season. a bid of around 5ook should seal the deal but i can see him ending up like gomis bauban and the rest. poor show if he does.

I suppose he could end up at Celtic, are they not looking for a keeper just now?

they are but pernis certainly wont be no1 at celtic, possibly no2 if zal leaves.
