What about them?

The U.K. allow legal immigrants and refugees into the country. As do pretty much most civilised countries.

I don’t believe we should have to send anyone thousands of miles away to be assessed as to where they can enter or not and the reality of this latest “idea” becoming law is extremely unlikely. It’s political and borne out of frustration that nothing else seems to work.

It’s also timed prior to local elections and whilst the government is under real scrutiny and significant pressure. It will be thrown out like everything else anyone tries to get a handle on what is a problem for the country.

The answer seems to be “let’s do something” but nobody has a clue what. Our legal system is enabled, encouraged and incentivised to scupper any attempts at control.

Right, I’m bored with this now. Don’t want to sit in here arguing or debating all day.

I have a bar to attend.

There are legal routes for immigrants to enter the U.K. There are laws and processes.

What do people want? A complete open door policy to anyone and everyone who just shows up?

The EU itself has a policy. The fact they allow immigrants to flow freely across borders becomes a U.K. issue when they get to northern France and decide it’s the U.K. they want and none of the other safe havens they’ve travelled through.

Over 700,000 legal immigrants entered the U.K. last year. All legal and all went through this so called non hearing they received under international law.

On one hand I agree with this that there will have been a number of excellent countries many migrants will have been through on the way to the UK and that they really ought to be staying in one of them, but on the other that's rather convenient for us as if that happened we'd never get any arrive here being on the edge of Europe.

It's not easy to solve and not gonna get any solutions from me in the nick I'm currently in.

Not a chance. gVb has a 3 or 4 year deal and he will want a kings ransom plus a sizeable budget.

It’ll be a Championship club with eyes on promotion.

Btw are we pretty much living under a borderline facist dictator?
Law breaking mean fook all now?
Tax payers monies to send poor vulnerable people to a 3rd World country?
When did it come to this?

Shame on any person who supports this, or Boris or his Himmler Priti Patel, its utterly sickening.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I support them. Not the law breaking of course. I support many of their stances on everyday situations. They have far more to do on energy, cost of living, taxation and I’m sure many more subjects.

What are the other parties doing other than their typical bitchy whining?

There.
