I wrote my first article back in 2013 saying how much we needed to appoint Klopp. Guess I was right, everything I knew he would bring, he brought to Liverpool.
What is done is done and we have the opportunity to now appoint ten hag, a manager who I have faith in.
However, the task to bring us back to the top is just as big as it was when Fergie took over, if not bigger with how good Liverpool and Man City actually are.
We need to get rid of around 80% of the current first team players, this team is a shamble. We need to back Ten Hag massively and very quickly. Let’s get rid, buy players, give youngsters an opportunity.
The board need to understand that getting top 4 next season is not the target. The target should be to see some improvement on the pitch first and foremost. If we finish next season 8th but we got rid of half the players and we played better football and actually showed progression, il take that over top 4 any day of the week.
I’m ready to give Ten Hag minimum 3 years to bring us back to challenging for trophies because my god, we are soooo far from being a decent team, never mind an exceptional one.
Let’s set the up expectations

Thought the same about Klopp in 2013, sometimes it's better to be wrong!

I'd be amazed if we get anywhere near the clear out and rebuild we need.
We've 6 senior centre half's... 5 aren't good enough and the other can't stay fit. None are coming out of contract I think, so we need to pay up contracts or hope someone buys.
Need a right back...
McFred aren't good enough... Donnys likely not either...
Even DeGea is a problem imo, the odd worldie save aside
We'll never sign enough... Murtough has been deeply involved in our pis4 poor recruitment over the last 8/9 years, actually been one of the few constants... Why are we suddenly confident he'll start getting things right?

Fans forget how difficult it is to get rid of players and when the likes of DDG are on 350k, Rashford 200k+ it becomes almost impossible. Look at Sanchez, you had to loan him out and pay half his wages until his contract ended. When players are not playing well they are not worth the money they are paid and United pay a hell of a lot. Expect most to see out their contacts and bloat your squad for a while yet.

Not a pretty picture. But the right man in charge won't have to scarp the whole team.
He'll bring in the right kind of player to play the system he wants. Could be four or five players out.
Right now utd's just a bunch of individuals, not a team.

The new manager has to be given time. I just wish the club is brave enough to have a complete clear out.
