Yes. He has proved the author to be well wrong.

Certainly he's proven the headline wrong. I don't think him being a good wartime leader undoes a lot of criticisms the author has for him, though.

Unless Putin is deposed I don't see how Ukraine "wins", I hope they do but I think a despot like Putin will use tactical battlefield nuclear weapons if he is losing the conventional fight.
