All jokes aside I refuse to get too excited by this. Too much false hope since SAF left.

Funny that Haaland has been injured for only a few more days than Rudiger over the past 4 years yet one is clearly injury prone while the other isn't.

It is funny, but Dortmund fans themselves are calling him injury prone. So 🤷🏻♂️

What’s that got to do with the facts? If Haaland is injury prone then surely Rudiger is too if he’s missed the similar amount of days injured than him over the past 4 seasons?

I’m not sure if you’re purposely being obtuse but have a look at the two different injury records here and try and see the difference and try and find a pattern with Haaland.

Yes they are both prone to a variety of injuries. Also before this season Haaland missed very few days through injury.

Rudiger hasn’t had an injury in over 2 years. Haaland is suffering a series of injuries consistent of someone his size playing in the style he does. For his sake I hope he manages to find some doctor who can get his career back on track to be able to play 40+ games a season as he’s a superb player. Though obviously if he misses games for City I won’t be too sad.

Its as if the older he’s got the better he understands his body and is adjusting to it. Haaland is 21 and bar this season his injury record hasnt been of that much concern so way too early to describe him as injury prone.

The Dortmund fans themselves say it’s an issue. I guess rather than turn this into a VC style 100+ comments battle it’s better to just see ourselves in the coming years. For his sake I genuinely hope I’m wrong as he’s one of my fave players and think he’s exactly what city need. For the sake of United I hope I’m right 😹

I raised the issue of Haaland’s injuries a few weeks ago, the main issue being that his wages would be equivalent to a small country’s GDP. His signing on fee alone would probably be enough to buy a minor archipelago.
Rudiger won’t be going anywhere for free of course, but the cost is incomparable.

Luckily we’re not even in for Rudiger. Apparently it’s between PSG, Real and Juve if he does decide to leave.
