Cheltenham Town v Bolton Wanderers

2 to go and the last away fixture of the season. Only the 4th fixture between the clubs. Stands at 1 win each. Bolton's win was in December 2020 during lockdown at the jonny-rocks stadium when fans were temporarily allowed in the grounds. A late Ryan Delaney goal won the game 1-0. Both promoted last season, Cheltenham as champions have established themselves in league one and are sitting comfortably in 14th. Bolton currently in 10th can't finish any lower than 11th or higher than 9th so not a lot on paper to play for. Team news. No new injuries reported, 1 return Dempsey added to the squad who played against Doncaster and Accrington over Easter. Ko 3pm.

Great memories. I was there and enjoyed every minute.

I bought my souvenir program which I gave to a young lad who lived a few houses down the road from me when I moved to Spain.

Among all my programs was the very first one from our new home at the ReeBok. I will watch that game later and no doubt it will bring back more memories.

Still got my last game at Burnden programme.

Think it's in my wardrobe with the boxes of the others from other earlier and later seasons.

The first game at the Reebok one is not with the rest though. It's a mystery where I put that one. May be in the loft with magazines and old comics I decided to keep.

You need to find it. When we get back to near the top of the Premier League, those programs will be like gold dust. I just wish that I had kept mine but there was so much furniture and things to move that I even gave my golf equipment to the guys at the waste disposal unit.

What I did take was my scuba diving equipment and when I got there and opened my chest that contained everything, I discovered that my air tank was missing. I never did get the money from the insurance company.

Got quite a few old programs and fanzines in storage. I must really look at what I have actually got sometime. When having a sort through my books I found out a couple of paperbacks I have are quite rare and going for £80/£90 on eBay. Don't throw anything anyway because you never know.

After last night's results there is a 3 way battle between Gillingham, Fleetwood and Morecambe for the last relegation place. Fleetwood need to match Gillinghams result who play Rotherham at home complicated by Rotherham having to win to guarantee promotion and maybe win the title. Morecambe can be relegated if both Gillingham and Fleetwood win and Morecambe lose at home to Sunderland. A fun day for us, sit back get Fleetwood beat and see what happens.

Looking back after we beat Gillingham 3-1 we had 54 points and could have got 84 points if won the last 10 which would have got us into the play offs. Morecambe home cost it.

Just been online to get my ticket for tomorrow.

Lofthouse Lower is pretty much almost sold out. Smattering of places in North Lower (where I will be), still a fair few left in the West Lower but that's for people who have given up on life as well as football as I discovered all too well the last game.

Maybe having a pint at HT or b4 match in that corner baron the right as you go in the stadium.
