Apart from the tap-in....he was truly shocking.
I won't say much more than that, but let's put it this way, if that was denilson or diaby, they'd be getting murdered by all fans and 'diaby/denislon OUT' would be popular article titles.
We all know how good he can be (vs england at wembley) but we haven't seen it from him in an arsenal shirt this year.
I hope wenger starts with a midfield trio of song-coquelin-chamberlain against sunderland. After a VERY impressive performance from coquelin, dropping him is simply not an option because
a) He's simply proving to be a great midfielder
b) He deserves to start because of his work-rate
c) It won't be good for his progress if he is constantly dropped after good performances, he needs a 'easier' home game to really establish himself.
Yesterday also showed me that IF, big IF, we improve fast, top 4 is a very possible achievement.
Simply because our competitors, although having enjoyed a much better start, aren't THAT good. Liverpool haven't played united, city or spurs yet. whilst spurs themselves only beat us 2-1 even though we had SO many absentees yet again.
Aaron Ramsey + general feelings.

So you would honestly drop both Arteta and Ramsey to play Coquelin and Chamberlain? If so i feel sorry for you.

Indifference, to the point of sleepiness.

I agree Ramsey was shocking, Coquelin looked very good both on and off the ball (which is rare for an Arsenal midfielder but AOC shouldn't be starting a premiership game for us in CM in the near future, far too young and inexperienced for that right now

Speaking of Diaby, I look forward to him getting back into action after internationals.

lmao, I am a man utd supporter but liverpool beat Arsenal 10 men 2-0 wgile tottenham battered liverpool 4-0 and should have been easily 8 even before going to in the end 9 men they had 4 or 5 chances to score.

normally i'd and throw at this statement, but strangely I'm in agreement he MIGHT actually add some much needed energy to our midfield

ermmmm...
Is that an insult or praise? What does that mean? You've just stated a few results you havent made a point. I'll have a go:
Liverpool win Everton because Rodwell got sent off,Man Utd beat Norwich and Sunderland drew with West Brom. Do i win?

Diaby would be very welcome right now. The sight of him rampaging through the middle without much effort is something we are missing. He can certainly help us attacking wise, but defensively, he is arguably a passenger.

Exactly. He's not afraid to make a surging run at defenders, other than a switched on Arshavin I can't say we have any further dynamic options. Oxlade likes to cut inside from the little we've seen of him but he along with Ryo are still lacking the experience.
It's clear that Diaby has always featured in Wenger's plans. If it wasn't for his lame injury record I imagine he'd be quite an accomplished player already. Still, he has enough experience to be held accountable and we need players to take initiative on the pitch. Diaby has flashes of brilliance/arrogance which makes him believe that he can carry the ball past 5 or 6 of the opposition. As long as he's provided with some kind of support that counts as attacking outlet in an otherwise dwindling list of options...

I was just correcting the fact liverpool lost 4-0 to spurs. I am saying Arsenal saying they only lost 2-1 to tottenham is still a loss but liverpool could have lost by far more and only beat you when you went down to 10. Although tottenham battered liverpool before they got sent off. You can say it is an insult but Tottenham had enough chjances like parker adebayor one on ones to score more. Arsenal never went clean through on goal with 1 player.
The same thing happened against Man utd, it was to easy to open up arsenal. Man utd coul easily have scored another 6 as I remember nani missing from 3yds by mistiming connection, ashley young had a couple of shots that schezney did well to beat away from 6yds. The scoreline could easily have finished 14-4.
That game reminded me of the Man utd as roma game were we just ripped roma apart and the time we recently beat you 4-0 in fa cup.
